We Guide & Mentor our Students

We serve as guides, mentors, and facilitators in the pursuit of artistic knowledge. While we do impart the essential basics & principles specific to students’ chosen areas of interest, these serve as the foundational tools for their artistic journey.

Main education occurs at the exploration level. Students will learn to use those tools and explore at their intellectual level. In the early stages of their quest to become professional artists, we provide carefully crafted exercises aimed at enhancing their vision, nurturing creativity, and honing their skills. Mentorship will not be provided until the basics are thoroughly understood. Mentors can guide you or comment on your work, but direct mentorship is reserved for those with a solid foundation. Typically, we place students with mentors after one to two years of preparation.

During this preparation period, there will be sessions for skill enhancement. It is important to note that mentorship is distinct from teaching; it involves receiving guidance from industry specialists. Based on individual interests, we match students with appropriate mentors, whether from a leading agency or a senior professional in the field. However, mentorship does not begin immediately without a strong portfolio and understanding in the relevant area.

Infact, our mentors do not train beginners. Therefore, every student at Bharat School spends approximately one to one & a half years refining their skills to a level suitable for advanced mentorship.
